I am a Senior Journalist and an Associate Producer based in Australia. I started my career in 2009 at the New Straits Times (Malaysia) and have covered various assignments focussing on government policies, politics, socio-economic affairs, parliamentary reporting, international relations, and many more.
Among the notable assignments I have worked on are the Malaysia Airlines twin tragedies (MH370 and MH17); Malaysia's 13th General Election; ASEAN Summit; US Presidential Election 2016; Singapore's 2020 General Election; and Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC).
Before moving to Australia, I was an Associate Producer at NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation) Singapore Bureau. I have also worked at TODAY, Mediacorp Pte Ltd as a Senior Journalist (Foreign Desk) and lived in Singapore for five years.
